Why is marketing is so important.....

Hello Folks, recently I have started a small venture in the manufacturing segment. I was checking the sales, as it was stuck at some figure from the last two months. I found something is wrong in the whole process. I started production first and marketing later. This hammered my business very much in growth and sales. 

    Today we are living in where we have to reach out to the customers, they won't walk to you. As they have multiple options available in a market. 

What I have observed in all SMEs, usually people put their focus on manufacturing and operation only. This is a very common mistake in young Entrepreneur. 

But, sadly this is the wrong flow while starting a new venture. 

In India, customers are very concentric while purchasing anything in the market. In our country, there are many different buying patterns and purchasing patterns according to culture. As an entrepreneur, you have to create an image of your product in the customer's view. 

Also, people follow a Mob Buying Mentality, where people will follow other people buying options. This is why you have to create a separate image of your product in the market. 

Marketing is nothing but creating an awareness of your product or service in people's minds. This will create a positive impact on the customer's mind. 

Marketing is nothing but education customer about your product or services. As your product is new to customers, they don't know the genuity of the product or services. Educate them about the benefits of your product or service. It may be health benefits or economical benefits. Customers are willing to know, what extra you are giving to them as compared to your competitors. How you stand out from your competitors, then only people will think about your product or services.

For marketing, you can do social awareness about your product or service. As we all know, the Indian market is rapidly growing. So to stay in this highly competitive market, Marketing is the only Mantra which will help you to grow. 

Always remember the basic rule, Marketing is as important as your production and supply are.
